July 2026: Afro Nation Portugal

Afro Nation 2026 (July 3-5, 2026) is going to be amazing all by itself, but enjoy more that Portugal has to offer.

Sample Itinerary:

• Land in Porto and stay in a top-rated hotel for 3-4 nights. While in Porto:

  • Take a day trip to the Douro Valley for wine tasting, lunch, and a river cruise;

  • Learn how to make the country’s famous pastry, Pastel de Nata, during a cooking class; and/or

  • Explore the city on your own!

• Next, take a train to the Algarve Coast.

• Check in to your next hotel in the Portimão area and get ready for three days of Blackity-Black fun! There are three access levels for the festival: General Admission, VIP, and Golden. Take your pick!

• After the festival, either extend your stay or depart from the Faro International Airport.

• Other Options: Pre-booked airport transfers, rental car bookings, a multitude of excursions, etc.

• Note that ground transportation between your hotel and festival are on your own, but ridesharing services like Uber are available in the Algarve (you just have to leave early and anticipate traffic).
